A Patch In Time

To date, one of the smallest jobs Truedek has ever been used was for the repair of a damaged concrete slab for an Industrial Recycle Centre.

Due to years of heavy traffic in the facility and the deterioration of the concrete surface and rusting reinforcing, a large driveway area had to be cut out of the slab without damaging any of the supporting beams underneath.

Flat Truedek panels were manufactured without any pre-camber to fit into the cut area, laid directly onto the exposed beams, with reo bars tying the new slab area into the existing slab.

Truedek TD160 panels and Infill were used in a Truss/Pan/Truss configuration and the result was a speedy and seamless concrete patch, enabling the centre to be back in operation within days.
