Truedek Serving the Rural Fire Service

Truedek was designed for the suspended slab extension of the Rural Fire Station in the picturesque town of Mt Wilson in the Blue Mountains, renowned for its beautiful gardens.

The existing Rural Fire Station building was having a new kitchen, office, double garage and Incident control room added.

The main 240mm voided slab was designed using 6.8m - 7.7m Truedek TD160 panels with a short area adjoining the main building installed with short 1m lengths of PremierDek 20, which is the 1mm hi-tensile 20mm deck profile used for shorter spans and propped areas.

The addition was designed by Haviland Architects and engineered by Docker Smith Structural Engineers. The construction was undertaken by Lithgow company, Dean Civil.
